More Than A Guide
Harvey Harriett is a life long Costa Rican. His origin is Trinidad/Tobago & Jamaican but he is 100% Costa Rican. Harvey is family (we call him our brother, our bond is so close). We met Harvey when he was a guide at an eco-lodge. There was an instant connection. We did a couple different activities with him while staying at the lodge but it was all about the day we spent with him on a hike into the "jungle". After four nights of staying at the lodge we were all soaked in tears the morning we had to say goodbye.

Harvey lives in the small town of Guacimo just outside of Guapiles. Most of his family lives in the same area which includes his mother, wife, daughter, son, granddaughter, three brothers and many many more. Harvey is the purest of pure when it comes to Costa Rica and you won't find anyone more genuine then Harvey Hariett.

Harvey Harriett
Background
Harvey started his own guiding business in 2021, but no one could foresee the impact of the pandemic on tourism in Costa Rica. Prior to starting his own business Harvey was a private guide at eco-lodges thoughout Costa Rica. Harvey would also guide for university groups and professors.
Harvey started guiding after his time at university. At university Harvey studied ecology and tourism. Harvey is an expert in birding, wildlife, flora and fauna. He also offers natural history of Costa Rica.

Harvey offers several tour packages and will also customize a tour package that is specific to your interests. He prefers to limit his group sizes to 10 or less so you experience personalized attention. Of course, there are exceptions to this; the type of tour and the group itself. It's preferred that groups don't exceed 15 due to transportation needs but it's always best to discuss your needs with Harvey. Anything could be possible.
Harvey also does private individual tours for those focused on a specific interest such as birding.

Harvey is proud of his country and he is so proud to be Costa Rican. He knows the ins and outs of the country and many of its best kept hiding spots. He can also spot a snake from a mile away!
